Yianni Doulis Architecture Studio is a Portland, Oregon-based firm focused on sustainable residential, commercial and public design.

Mr. Doulis wanted a website that best displayed his depth and breadth of work as a green architect. We created a spare site, structured upon a grid, which allows his beautiful work to speak for itself. The site features two portfolios: one for his architectural projects and another for the pieces he creates to inhabit those projects.

O'Brien Constructors LLC is a Portland-based general contractor that specializes in projects with high client involvement and design team integration.

Ms. Winn wanted a polished website that adequately displayed the breadth and depth of the experience that O'Brien Constructors brings to the table. We featured their top 16 projects, integrating 176 images to best display the work they have accomplished with their 222 partners over the past 25 years. ICON is a professional organization that promotes illustration, gathering the industry’s best and brightest talent to present and talk about their work, their business, their lives, and their passion for illustration.

Mr. Glitschka needed a solid website for his content-rich event. Much care was given to credits and references for the host of illustrators who graciously donated their artwork to the site. Top banner art is randomly selected and displayed from a large folder of donated artwork.

Jason Greene is a Portland-based painter with past experience as as an archaeological illustrator and an interactive exhibit designer.

Mr. Greene wanted a website that comfortably displayed the breadth and diversity of his work. The flexibility of the portfolio engine allows each piece to be viewed both individually and as a member of a collection. The hand-painted logo adds a bit of the artist's own character and style.

Each page features rich imagery from her various projects. A new self-contained portfolio displays the information that previously occupied 92 pages.

Amy Burgess is a Portland-based custom jewelry maker of great skill and creativity who enjoys working in natural stones, gems, crystals, sterling silver and gold..

Ms. Burgess needed a website that portrayed her more as a professional artist and less like a part-time hobbyist. We created a boutique-like site featuring gorgeous photos of her work. The pieces were titled, alphabetized, and separated into distinct categories for better browsing. Newer photography was taken byAmy Ouelette.

Mentorship Program

William Kendall, Volunteer Coordinator

The Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) exists to create musical opportunities for homeless and at-risk youth in a safe and healthy environment.

Mr. Kendall wanted a website that both attracted youth to the program and also targeted potential donors. Donors need a site that appears established. But, make it too slick and we risked alienating the kids who benefit from the program. We created a solid website composed of pages that appear hastily thrown together. Cascade Contracting, LLC is a Portland-based, craftsman-quality contracting company whose mission is to create beautiful, quality work at a fair price. Solid guys who do beautiful work.

Cascade Contracting wanted an elegant website that would establish them as a high-end contracting company. Each section features big, juicy photographs of their exquisite work. Interactive before-and-after insets are featured in many of the projects.

TS Whalen

TS Whalen is a Portland-based, itinerant photographer and monument portraitist. A fine-art mentality working in a commercial field.

For this iteration of his website, Mr. Whalen requested a click-less navigation. He wanted visitors to be able to roll and move in a near effortless manner. The two exceptions to his click-less edict: you must click to order prints or to email the artist. His client portfolio is still in the works.

Take Creative License

Adobe Stock Photos is a royalty-free image service that provides a convenient way for creative professionals to search across multiple image libraries at once and purchase royalty-free images.

Mr. Newman had a digital image mash-up that he wanted to animate as a promo for Adobe Stock Photo's Take Creative License Contest. The layered Photoshop file was reverse-engineered and separated into its basic elements. A cursor was animated to engage the viewer and move the elements around.

Rudy Reyes, martial arts expert and Marine war veteran, offers a philosophy and conditioning program that balances mind, body, and spirit to help you unlock your potential and allow you to live your life like a hero..

Mr. Mullholland wanted an introductory animation for the Rudy Reyes website that was truly heroic in look and feel. We created a slow-paced, almost regal animation which complimented Andy Batt's beautiful photography. In addition, we created an interactive timeline depicting Rudy's amazing life story.

All Hail The Rebel

Keep the Drive is a national teen-led movement promoting smart teen driving which was created to actively address the #1 killer of teens in the United States today: car crashes.

Mr. Newman wanted an animated introduction for the Allstate Insurance Company program that attracted youth and got them excited about the program. He wanted the piece to feel like a classic Saul Bass movie-opener. A soundtrack of Taiko drumming drove the transitions and empowered the imagery.

Home Headquarters

YRT2 provides their customers with integrated community and inside-the home technology products and services over state-of-the-art fiber optic networks.

Mr. Greco wanted a presentation that would both inform and suitably impress prospective clients of YRT2. An interactive cut-away home that describes technology points throughout the house was created as both a stand-alone and a web-accessible presentation. The sky color in the presentation reflects the time of day.

Top Position SPAN SL

Top Position is one of the UK's leading pay-per-click consultancy companies— reducing your cost per conversion and delivering more clicks for less.

The Top Position project introduces prospective clients to pay-per-click advertising. The movie goes on to explain how Top Position can help them to meet their specific marketing goals. The cartoon character was modeled in a 3D program and then imported into Flash for animation.

Stalwart is an innovative IT engineering firm focused on securing and converging applications — voice, video and data—and access to those applications through wireline and wireless.

The Stalwart project introduced prospective clients to a company consisting of elite IT engineers who are rabidly opposed to sales and marketing people. If you work with Stalwart, you talk directly to your engineer. They have no time for middlemen. We tried to make the army of marketeers look as slick as possible.

The AdwareFilter™ project introduces prospective users the toolbar that detects and eliminates adware, spyware, hoistware, hijackers, worms, key-loggers, dialers and other malware. The look-and-feel for the movie emulates the basic design of their main competition, MSN.
